"This is a 4 star hotel with 5 star customer service. Being on the last leg of our trip in Taiwan, we are very glad we booked this hotel to end our trip on. The staff were attentive, helpful, and provided us with an amazing experience overall. The location is very convenient and quiet. The only complaint we have was that we noticed ventilation was not very good in our room and it smelt strange and stuffy, with a mould patch on the wall. Otherwise we had an amazing experience. "

"The property itself was cute and clean. The only dislike was getting into the building was a bit confusing for a foreigner. It was hard to understand which button to push, and pushing the buttons did not gain us access. We had to wait until someone came outside in order to enter. The instructions could be better on this. Outside of that, great and walkable! It was in a good location that made walking around to food and nearby shops easy!"

"Overall, this was an acceptable place to sleep for the night, though I don’t have very high standards. The room was clean, the bathroom had towels and toiletries. That being said, there was the mold problem that I smell in many hotels in Taiwan. At one point, I started sneezing uncontrollably, and I don’t consider myself to be sensive to mold. Also, the a/c control wasn’t much of a control. There was no way to adjust the temp, which was 17 degrees C. Could only choose various fan strength...

"1. Service is horrible. Very Rude front desk. When i told them the phone in our room does not work, they don't replace it until we were almost checked out of the hotel (our last day). 2. When I arrived to checked in, i need to pay for the whole stay. Usually you pay when you checked out, in this hotel, you need to pay when you checked in. 3. The rooms and the hotel has heavy cigarette smells. We were shown multiple rooms, and every single rooms has heavy cigarette smells, even though the hotel...

"Old building but convenient location, mingled with locals, walkable distance to restaurants, shopping places. very good breakfast!"

"Stayed 3 nights. Had to ask for room change because of unbearable odor. Moved to executive floor but found roaches in room and business center. In the last morning morning water clogged in the bathroom. Having said that, the staffers were mostly very courteous and friendly. Learn that the hotel will be knocked Down on November 1st, 2019 for rebuilding to reappear Hyatt Centric location in 2024. I am sure it will shine like a star again but also become very expensive too because of its location."
