"I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the hotel. The room was sufficient and the bed was comfortable enough. The table was pretty wobbly, the dresser under the TV had a drawer that was stuck, and the bathroom was in poor shape with broken floor tiles and a spot near the bathtub that sunk down when stepped on. The shower also didn't seem very clean or felt like it was old. The breakfast was pretty non-existent. Don't choose this hotel if you're hoping for breakfast. There is a pool but...

"I did my booking 100% online and fell in love with the photos online that showcased the old SD charm. Upon arriving to the property I was all smiles it was clean and green the grounds were overgrown and vibrant. I was greeted with a smile and the early check in was done without any issues and under 1 minute. Once I opened the door to my room all my excitement and smiles were done. "Location is great. Hotel is alright it needs to be updated. Handicap bathrooms need MAJOR updating. Kind of gross they smell and just look horrible. Overall we enjoyed our stay because we were gone all day. If you’re gonna hang out in the room more I’d find a different hotel close by. "

"Clean room with a comfortable bed. Ideal for a quick low cost stay on the island. Smaller room and quite a bit of traffic noise and noise from rooms upstairs so might not be ideal for some people but did not bother me"

Across the street from the most beautiful beach, all the bars and restaurants you can possibly imagine, and the jacuzzi on the third floor overlooking the Coronado beach is a huge plus to your stay!
