"This was our second year staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, and the combination of sea and forest is really lovely. Last year it was excellent in every respect. This year, however, it was so crowded with families and young children that navigating the breakfast area was really a challenge. "We arrived to Hyatt regency hakone and were immediately escorted in and were told they were waiting for us. From that moment on, it was nothing but first class treatment from the entire staff. It was an incredible experience and the staff experience alone should make people run here in droves!! It sadly rained (4.5 inches in one day alone) while we were there but the staff was always helpful with information, alternative advice, and wonderful smiles. Would definitely recommend as they went above and beyond. "
