Only giving 4 stars because of non working elevators and system for getting a palapa. Supposedly it was first come first serve in the morning but when getting down there at the crack of dawn and all had towels. I think beach attendant reserve them for the highest tippers. I gave 5 or 10 for them to point me to the hut they were giving me. Otherwise room was nice, buffets were good and the ala cart restaurants were excellent.

The liquor seemed to be of good quality; the food not so much. Partial ocean view room means a view of the pool. We all got sick from the Italian restaurant and we had different meals. They comped us a 25 minute massage which was soooo excellent. Stick with the buffet. The sand was dirty. I like the Riu but I wouldn’t stay at this one again. Loved the one in Cancun and Jamaica.

Went to the Rui Palace on our honeymoon & we’re amazed at how beautiful the resort was! Absolutely perfect! The pool is such a fun atmosphere, the entertainment At night was amazing. The food was delicious! The whole place is extremely clean & staff is so friendly & nice. You are walking distance to great restaurants & shopping too! Highly recommend staying here

Aruba is beautiful and the bartenders and entertainers were extremely nice! The RUI was average, especially for the price. When we arrived at the RUI, check in time was 3pm. Our room was not ready until 5pm. When we finally got in our room, the air conditioning was out, and the ceiling fan did not work. They told us to go have dinner and it would all be fixed when we got back. It was not. After my second trip to the front desk, they did send a technician to our room who did get the air and fan working by 8pm. Our room keys quit working every day for some reason, sometimes twice a day. So, all 3 of us had to go to the front desk and have them reactivate our keycards MANY times. One of the elevators was out which caused an extended wait time to get in the one operating elevator (they said it had been broken for a long time). I called the front desk one night twice to request extra blankets and toilet paper because we were totally out; however, NO ONE ever showed up. And last, the food was just average and room service only consisted of about 3-4 items. Overall, we had a good time, but this was the worst all-inclusive we have ever been to and the most expensive.

Rooms are dated. It needs a gotal remodel. breakfast was the oblycreally good mill...plus the nathan's hot dog's in the sports bar....there is a ramp from the main lobby (more like a hill)... to the rooms..horrible....i had to walk up.ans down this thing everyday...it was exhausting...too exhausting fo a vacation.. I would've recommend this place and I won't be back
