"For a one night business trip, this hotel is perfect. Inexpensive yet very conveniently located just in front of Kokura station, with plenty of dining choices within an easy walk. "Stayed one night after taking a train down from Fukuoka to check out the city. Very close to the train station so I could store my luggage at the station before checking in to the hotel. I checked in later in the day after arriving to Kagoshima in the AM. Check in was very simple and quick. Desk clerk understood my Japanese/English mix. Some descent restaurants in the area. Room was comfortable for one. Stayed in many APA hotels in Japan. Inexpensive room but I’m not hanging out in the room...

"This was our first time to visit Kumamoto. We were very pleased with Candeo Hotels Kumamoto Shinshigai. It’s a wonderful location of the center of the city. Very convenient and lots to do in waking distance. Of course, we walked to the Kumamoto Castle. It was a wonderful and memorable trip we had."
