"The nearby area was clean and quiet. It seemed safe to walk around even late at night. The staff in the hotel was excellent. The restaurant nearby was nice as well."

"Port Vita Hotel is a good option for USJ being close to the Universal Station rail station. Note that the Osaka airport limo-bus stops at the USJ main gate, which is maybe a 400 yard walk away. This is OK in fine weather but less so in a downpour/typhoon season. The front desk receptionist was outstanding accommodating our requests though. The family room we had was set out well and had all the space and facilities we needed with plenty of power outlets and USB ports. Buffet breakfast was great with a nice selection of relatively healthy offerings. The convenience store near the entrance turned out to be handy when we needed a snack late in the evening. Overall, we were very happy with the stay and would return."
