The views from the room was beyond picturesque, it was one of those moments when you just sip your coffee and just look at the sun riseing up out of the ocean with the volcanic looking island scattered along the cost and think this is something. "A relaxed Ryokan style establishment with excellent views of the lake and from room 6 the Castle. Quiet and a little distant from the main hotel areas but with the local bus stopping directly at the door. Ebikes and bicycles for hire and only a short walk to the Japanese black pine forest and beach . A pleasant change to business hotels in the city. A very pleasant stay. "

"Really nice option close to bus stops to hakata & 15min from the castle/city etc. Staff were quite and even got to checkin before 3pn which is a rarity in Japan. Fairly average breakfast though (at least the 'western' part)."
