"We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well! "

"Views of sheep from conservatory in back (where we spent most of our time) and glorious water views from dining table out front which are not shown in listing but should be! Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. Just a fact on Skye!"

"Eileen Isay was the perfect central location for us to explore Isle of Skye. Dunvegan Castle, Fairy Pools, prehistoric Brochs, hiking in the Cuillins and our favourite hike The Quiraing. Absolutely jaw dropping scenery and magic weather all week. The cottage was ideal for us, cosy, warm, very comfy bed and everything we needed. Every evening we sat by the bay window and watched the amazing sunsets, all of which made our Golden Anniversary a very memorable one. Thankyou Marion!"

"The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was amazing with easy walking to village center. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. "We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"Together with two friends who were in a separate room, I stayed two nights in the property in May 2024 Big plusses for me the following: we were in the garden annexe. Ace. That was number one. The location was convenient for the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. In addition the room was spacious, the bed comfortable. One big negative was that the heating system for my room seemed to be a bit menopausal is it only seem to go for about three minutes and it then cut off. Don’t know if that was accident...
