Was able to unpack the car outside then the hosts kindly showed us a free parking street (might be full in high season so need to book a place somewhere). "The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"Now I understand what a “superheat” is. Luca went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He picked us up at the train station, gave us numerous recommendations, and was very available with any questions/requests we may have had. The property was lovely! Very clean, and With an amazing view. We enjoyed the work into town where the beach, Only 10 minutes away or so… Close to restaurants and supermarket. Quiet and peaceful, Good nights sleep! "We arrived mid October in the middle of a huge storm. The effect of the storm caused a massive dump of seaweed right up to the property and those adjacent. It was impossible to walk along the beach . There was great volume of plastic debris that had washed up with the seaweed. There was no attempts to clear it including a plastic sunbed that was smashed up and half burned by the sea weed.. when the storm abated locals came each morning to fish and left their litter, including plastic behind. The pool is very small with no seating area Or shade which is a shame we only used it once during our 2 week holiday. We spent our time on the private beach which is beautiful, €28 a day for the four of us. We hired a car to explore the island, Cefalu is beautiful. No WiFi, no restaurant, no shops, no bar with in walking distance"

Benedetto was the ultimate host, responsive and supportive, and the setting was superb.
