"A comfortable stay for three nights. We received an email prior to our stay advising of transport options to the guest house! This was very much appreciated and helped so much in reducing the stress of arriving in a new country and not knowing where you are going! We had a warm welcome from the proprietor on the Saturday morning so that we could leave our bags! "Exceptional service and generally superb attitude, friendliness and care. Always available staff. Great character and design. Slight issue with room 3 being facing road and bright light of signage into window. The sound was loud with window open but that was our preference for fresh air. Wouldn’t be issue if you’re happy to not. Breakfast was lovely and has all you need hot or cold. Great location."

"Be careful upon checking in. We showed up and waited outside for fifteen minutes before anyone came to the door and let us in. We were kinda freaking out not knowing what to do. "Beautifully decorated, maintained and immaculate. The room was made up perfectly every day, cleaned and fresh towels. Good breakfast selection of eggs, sausage, bread, fruit, meats, fish, yogurt. First hotel I've been to that has a fresh orange juicer. Very convenient location with short walk, about 10 minutes to city center, 5 minutes to tram, 10 minutes to the Gironde River."
