"House was as advertised. Very comfortable and well stocked for our visit. Lots of prompting of how things work. As a VRBO host I took some notes. It is walkable to the local town which has nice restaurants and small shops. Drivable within minutes to other shopping like grocery and Walmart. Very convenient to Asheville. What Google says it will take is what it takes. The hosts are very responsive. Even followed up to a lost item after the visit. I would recommend and stay again."

"This place could not have been more perfect for our group. We were in town for my partner’s 30th birthday with friends and we really enjoyed how the group could spread out in the space (9 total). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. The porch was awesome. I was delightfully surprised at the entertainment options in Weaverville that we could walk to in 10 mins. "The cabin was everything we expected and more. Our group consisted of three senior adults.The bedrooms are very spacious as well as the bathrooms The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware. The cabin was very clean as well as the outside, which we really enjoyed. The only concern we had was the lack of placemats for the table. We did not want to harm the surface of the table with a hot dish. We worked around that by using paper plates as our placemats."

"This was our second time staying at Acorn cabin and we plan to return yet again! Our family thoroughly enjoys this gem in Weaverville. We could explore by day and relax on the porch or by the fire at night. This visit we ventured to Mt. Pisgah, Black Mountain, Montreal, Mt. Mitchell, a lot of the Blue Ridge Pkwy, and two days at Biltmore. We really enjoy walking the nature trail into town for ice cream and pizza! The cabin is clean, comfortable, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll be back!"

"Tucked away on a quiet hillside, this tiny cottage was so peaceful and had the best water straight from the tap, and we enjoyed a lot of it! It was very clean and we it had about everything we needed to stay a few days. Great Wi-Fi, nice tv, encouraged recycling. The stone steps up to the cottage were beautiful but only for the sure footed. Buddy, the dog, was a friendly greeter, but was always a fence between us. We really liked Buddy!"
