"We enjoyed our time here - it was clean and felt safe, with 24hr security onsite. There is a roof terrace for all to use (although this could do with a little TLC). The front desk attendants were friendly and very helpful - they helped us a great deal with translation when trying to arrange delivery of our delayed luggage. We would love to return for another stay someday."

"Excellent hotel with the best location, as it is very central and you have everything nearby. We had the room with a view of the Nile, and it was spotless. Additionally, you have a fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom was reasonable, and the water had good pressure. The internet also works well, and the staff were kind and friendly, especially the receptionist. Overall good experience "

"Cecilia Hotel is incredible! It is a great location for a great price and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But the best thing about Cecilia was the amazing staff! I came to Egypt for a study abroad semester, and I was really scared being in Egypt by myself as a young woman, especially since I had never left my country before. Everyone at Cecilia was so kind and made me feel very safe and welcome in Cairo. They even helped me with my Arabic lessons and with finding an apartment for the rest...

"Very safety and clean "

"My single room had only a comfortable clean bed, a light and a fan. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff was friendly, and the hostel had a nice vibe. It was centrally located was in the middle of busy area. Very safe and walkable. I only had one dislike. The elevator only goes to the 6th floor, however the hostel is on the 7th floor. So you have to walk up about 20 winding stairs with luggage. There is no call button to to summon the elevator up. The staff has to call to the...

"Very bad front desk - unprofessional wearing sleeping cloth with with sandles - have no photo copy machine to photo copy passport un-bolite knocked on my doors 3 times for no reason NOT SAFE TO STAY IN HERE. "

"We had a really great stay. Location good & a quieter area of Cairo than being in the centre, but only a short cab ride in. Easy journey out to Giza also. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were all really great. For what we paid it was excellent. "
