I was a little worried after reading a few reviews that said that the rooms needed to be updated, in my opinion they are just fine as everything in the room is very well kept, it is a matter of different tastes. If you are looking for a modern looking hotel, this is not for you as the style throughout the entire hotel is elegant classic not contemporary. "

"Only 4 stars bc of the small things that add up - hair dryer not working, bath towel with make up stains, outdated shower fixture and surround - things that are easy wins. We stayed on the first floor and could hear everything our upstairs neighbor was doing, even going to the bathroom... depsite all that, I would stay again! Its close to Carolina Beach and Wilmington. Its a cute golf course community, the staff was really nice, and they offer discounts on play rates. Just want some minor...
