"It was a perfect place to land after a very long transport (over 20 hours). Kiyo was very helpful and got me from the airport the evening before and to the train station the next day. She is very pleasant and her room is restful and traditional Japanese. It was a great entry to Japan.She even had a selection of pillows."

I was hoping the bar would be a gathering spot for all the guests, but I never saw it open (appears to be by reservation?) That we were encouraged to return by 9 PM was also a bit onerous (given it is 30 minutes from the city centre), but an understandable part of the guesthouse experience."

Very organized. Great staff the cleaning staff was awesome. Everything was so great. I will definitely use their service again. "Its a little far away from the kansai airport the area around were residential so its very quiet and a little dark outside at night time. There weren’t any nearby convenience store but they have a small restaurants around the area. The staff were very kind and welcoming."

"I only stayed for one night but found this hotel very comfortable. The place is aged, in a good way. I found the staff friendly and the room clean and overall in nice condition and bigger than any of the other rooms I've stayed in across Japan. I had a beautiful view and a good experience. The one small problem I had was a vent that seemed to carry in all noise from across the floor but it wasn't a big deal."
