"We were so pleased with our stay at the Comfort Inn in Downtown Charleston. The room was upgraded and had all the amenities, bed was comfortable, shower was strong, and towels were soft. These are not always the case in more economical hotels. The breakfast was very good as well. Public transportation to the center of Charleston was easy to navigate. "

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"The staff went above and beyond when I arrived and my friend was having a medical emergency. The manager Caitlyn got a wheelchair, got me situated and got aid for my friend. She checked on me the rest of time I was there and her and her team even sent me chocolate covered strawberries to make me feel better! Amazing management team. The staff is top notch and I will never stay anywhere else after seeing how they handled this medical emergency. "
