"We had a great stay at their hotel. Both owners were very sweet and hospitable. Started from the wife picking us up at the airport. (Sorry I forgot her name)When we got to the hotel she immediately added us to her WeChat so we could communicate with her easily. She was very sweet the first day she noticed we were under the weather so when we got to back to the hotel in the evening she brought us some plum tea which was very good. Almost everyday we were there she has brought us either sweets/ tea or fruits. She was also very helpful and recommended more things for us to do and see. So if you’re ever in Zhangjiajie consider staying with them they are amazing! "

The rooms are really comfortable with en-suites and a great location (very close to bus station and tianmen mountain cable car whilst also been a very short taxi to the airport). The host was very very accommodating and was happy to speak in English which was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an easy and comfortable stay."

"The hotel is a 5 stars one. The pool is not wow but make the work. The place is well maintained. One thing shocked to me is that they turn off the AC after 10 am aprox until 4 PM. Not sure if they do that in common areas to save electricity or what.. poor employees that need to work with all that heat."

"We had a fantastic stay at No.5 Valley Lodge. The accommodation was fabulous, great infinity swimming pool with Mountain Views, hotel restaurant serves authentic delicious dishes. The receptionist was extremely helpful :) He contacted my via WeChat ahead of the trip to help arrange a pick up from the airport. He also arranged 2 days of tours for us with driver and guide. This was all last minute ! Thank you again, we will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Zhangjiajie is one of the most impressive scenery in China. Must visit ! "
