North of the old town, with its many old half-timbered houses, is the spa park In der Helle, where you can play miniature golf in summer and toboggan in winter. In the town area of Winterberg rises one of the highest and also probably the most famous mountain of the Sauerland: the Kahle Asten, where the Lenne River rises. In about 20 minutes you can walk to the city center with many restaurants.
