On the one hand, beds all had clean sheets and there were some lovely touches such as milk, juice and tim-tams in the fridge on arrival. On the other hand, other areas were uncomfortably dirty or not in working condition. I also didn’t experience the same level of promptitude in communication with the owner that others said they had experienced, which was a disappointment. Having said that, Jennifer was very polite when she did respond. For those hoping to bring pets here, I was caught out as there was nothing in the information on the website to indicate that while the place is pet friendly, dogs are only allowed outside. I had not planned for this and had to scramble to accommodate, so make sure you are ready for this if you are planning to bring dogs. There is also currently no direct access to the outside bins in order to dispose of dog poo hygienically. You have to walk the block to reach the alleyway where they can be found. So on the whole, while the place is generally good, it was a mixed experience for me.
