"We had a lovely stay - the views and scenery are spectacular. The room was spacious and well appointed and very comfortable. The large balcony and full wall window were amazing. We arrived by train so the walk up to the hotel was quite a climb but this is not unusual for the Douro valley. For those with a car there is a good car park in thr basement."

"Hidden gem! We stayed in the Almond Suite for one night and had an incredible experience. The room and the entire property were so stylish, clean and photogenic. The views from the room at sunrise were worth waking up early for. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic, and we really appreciated the personalization and the hospitality of the staff.
