For the price ,both the staff and everyone that makes this establishment what it is are number 1. I had a bit of a plumbing issues but even that didn't take away from the overall excellence

The motel was better than I expected for the price. Everything worked. It was clean and convenient. One night, I needed an extension cord to charge my car battery so I asked the owner. He gave me one and told me to return it in the morning which I did at 5:15AM. He got up and answered the buzzer on the day at the same time I checked out too. He was friendly each time I woke him up. I told him I would be back next year. A neighbor was playing drums outside till 11PM each night, but it was no big deal.

Aug 7, 2019We were in town to see Barbra Streisand at the United Center. We have found that taking the train from Evanston to the United Center, that we save money on parking, no stress from driving to the event and trying to find a place to park. The train is convenient to The Homestead. We have stayed in downtown Chicago before when going to the United Center, but have found the pleasantness of staying in Evanston makes the train ride worth it all.

Jul 26, 2019I dropped off and picked up my daughters and their friend for a concert. I paid for parking, but couldn't get back in once I had left. Word to the wise, get there super early if you're picking up, find a place to park and walk the distance. It was an absolute zoo trying to get back to find them.
