The centre is approx. 1.5 km from the house and offers several bars and pizzerias, supermarkets and renowned restaurants in the high season. You will also find grocery shops, a pharmacy and a church. Market with typical, fresh products of the Sardinian gastronomy as well as household goods etc.: twice a week (Wednesdays and Fridays).special features: The most fascinating feature is the beautiful sea view. 1100 metres from the house (4 minutes by car) is the white dream beach of Solanas, enclosed by rocks on both sides. The sea here is known for always being free of algae. Children can enjoy the little fish swimming around. With a bit of luck, dolphins can be spotted in the bay. The beautiful granite rocks are perfect for long walks. Free car park available. Guests who like to walk can go on foot (approx. 15 min.). The walk around the hill with the old Spanish tower of Solanas is fantastic, preferably at sunset. The overall picture also offers an enchanting combination of rural idyll and crystal blue sea, as the typical Mediterranean macchia vegetation is everywhere: wild olive trees, mastic bushes, junipers, rock roses, etc.Other leisure activities: 10 minutes by car from Solanas is Villasimius, the largest tourist centre in southern Sardinia, with many shopping, leisure and entertainment options and more beaches. The fantastic Diverland water park in Quartucciu is a special attraction for the whole family (approx. 30 min. away).
