- Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
I loved everything about this property. The room was well appointed and extremely comfortable, the staff were warm and welcoming and the facilities were outstanding. I'll start by saying that I lived in Seattle for nine years, so I know the Belltown district well, and I am able to navigate public transit without a hitch. That said, when I arrived, I was tired, my back hurt from my overstuffed carry-on and I was in a hurry to meet up with a friend. The staff greeted me, helped me with my bags, explained how the key fob worked and even offered me a refreshment (the beer was lovely)! I was encouraged to come to the front desk for any reason, even if it was just to relax for a few minutes. I was heartily welcomed, and I believed it when the staff wished me a pleasant stay. Each morning, someone held the door for me as I left or offered advice on combating the weather (it was especially windy two days in a row). Each evening, I went up to the Sky Lobby for a coffee, tea or beer. Each evening, the clerk on duty would engage me in conversation about my day, what went on at the conference I was attending, where I met up with friends, what have you. I felt like I lived in the hotel, not just stayed there. As for the room, I very well *could* have lived there. Top of the line appliances, incredibly comfortable bed, 55" television with ample channel selections and the soaps, detergents, fabric softeners and other things I would've forgot to bring in. In short, outstanding!
