In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking on the premises. Shop 4 km, railway station "Kaltenbach" 4 km, outdoor swimming pool 6 km, indoor swimming pool 9 km. Golf course (18 hole) 4 km, walking paths from the house 10 m, mountain railway, slopes 300 m. Please note: In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. My husband and I were literally speechless upon arriving here! It is so very beautiful on both the outside and inside the apartment, especially the view from the extensive balcony decorated with lots of wonderful flowers. Frau Luxner was really nice and gave us some family schnapps to welcome us. We enjoyed the privacy and the remoteness afforded to us by the lovely location up in the hills above Kaltenbach. We wanted the freedom of making our own food like we do at home and the kitchen was fitted with everything we needed, plus all the equipment was new! The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the entire area is beautiful and full of outdoor activities to do (winter and summer!). It is located within the Zillertal valley and is close to Achensee and Innsbruck. I completely recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to wake up with the beautiful Alps surrounding them! We hope to visit next time in the winter.
