My complain goes directly to you EXPEDIA, this hotel is closed almost a year, according the manager you have been told and you are still offering. Fortunately not charged was made to my credit card, but It was very awful to drive there, get the place and find this situation. Be carefull about handling your own bussiness to attend your clients properly. With this experience my husband and I are not cosidering to use your plattaform to plan another trip.

Room and private bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Great colors and decor in the room and throughout the hotel, including native artwork. Simple, but tasty breakfast included. Place has colonial feel, but without the old or run down aspect of other places in Suchitoto or similar towns. The host was really nice and answered all questions and shared a lot of tips on places to eat, get a drink, or see in Suchitoto. Highly recommend. One drawback - there was no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom (which was modern and clean), making for a situation encouraging intimacy or taking turns if you have to do your business.

Pésimo servicio en Casa de La Abuela Suchitoto
No fue posible hacer uso de la reserva. Parece ser que hubo un malentendido entre la plataforma Hoteles y el hotel. El día de la estadía llamamos telefónicamente al hotel 503 23404489 y nos confirmaron la reserva. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos al lugar, quien parece ser el administrador o propietario fue cero amigable, muy altanero y cero colaborador. Nos ofrecieron un upgrade de habitación por idea de una de las chicas del staff tratando de solucionar el problema, y lo habríamos tomado si no hubiera sido por el pésimo servicio y actitud arrogante del administrador. Luego nos afirmaba que la reserva que habíamos hecho era de un "ático" que no corresponde a lo ofertado en esta plataforma (baño fuera de la habitación y otros detalles), pero que "si queríamos le teníamos que esperar dos horas para que nos las arreglara". Reitero, si no hubiese sido por la horrible actitud de este señor, habríamos tomado cualquiera de las dos opciones. Terrible que un hotel que es tan bonito y parece tan acogedor nos haya hecho pasar este terrible momento.
