Cabin 4 called Getaway is a cozy, open concept private cabin on semi-lakefront property. 2 bedrooms with new comfort enhanced mattresses. Each unit has its own washer and dryer. Brand new, with new modern décor. Large windows in main living area to let the light in and enjoy the amazing view and sunsets. Private deck with BBQ. Parking, boats welcome. Large private dock with buoys for boat moorage. Water trampoline for guests use. Shared Hot tub and fire pit area. Great spot for all people, kid friendly. Property backs onto the trail systems, maps and guides available on Shuswap Tourism website.

Overall we were very pleased with the holiday at the Blind Bay Hideaway including the location, cleanliness, amenities, kitchen supplies, bedding, furnishings, A/C, dock and beach, and parking spots. It was our first time and we will look into booking next year but would prefer a cabin at the lower level. Being seniors with our small grandkids, it was impossible to negotiate walking and down the steep access road to go the the beach; however, other than that, we have no complaints. Thank you for a lovely stay. The Thomson Family

Great stay!
Great property. We had 2 nights and enjoyed the fire near the trees. Beautiful stars and the sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. Close to grocery store. Would stay again easily.

This hideaway unit was lovely. The #4 building seemed almost brand new, was modern and had everything we needed. An air conditioning unit was included in the main living space that was desperately needed during very hot few days. The property manager was terrific and even had the unit prepped for us a little before normal check in time because we were arriving early. For our young family who were looking for “beach time” the Shuswap area isn’t well suited as the lake shore is generally very rocky. This property has put in effort to make it more comfortable with a floating dock with picnic tables and a floating trampoline, but the shoreline was not comfortable for hanging out with kids. One other drawback to the accommodation, and the area in general, is that the road runs between the houses and water so must be crossed to get to the lake. While the #4 unit was fabulous, for our family purposes, it might be useful to note that the location at the top of the property up a steep incline can be tiresome and challenging for mobility issues. Additionally the unit, and the bbq and sitting area are in direct sun all afternoon as there is very little shade and in the 30+ temperatures was uncomfortable, however would have been lovely on cooler days. The hot tub and fire pit areas looked nice but we’re not usable during this hot period. Access to the trails behind were up a steep hill but convenient and the trail had some nice views. Overall I would give this property 5 stars for how nice the accommodation is and how good the property management is, but the overall rating is 4 stars as the lake access and ‘lounging ability’ were not suited for our family.

Place was great!
Would have given 5 star had it had AC as the place didn't cool off at night enough for my liking. Unfortunately with the water so high we could not access the dock without swimming and the beach was covered but this was no fault of the owners. Place was super clean and easy to get ahold of the manager with questions

Amazing place to stay!
We had a lovely time at the Blind Bay Hideaway! The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the property was stunning. Victoria was a great host, we'd love to come back next time we are booking a trip to Shuswap!

Beautiful Getaway
Property and view was amazing. Victoria was super accommodating and the listing was as described. If I had to leave a negative comment, it would be that there could be more kitchen items (ie. Kettle) available in the cabin as we could not find some, but also we might not have looked everywhere. Looking forward to coming back and seeing some of the other cabins!

Super comfortable getaway
We loved the location and the space between cabins. We were able to easily access hiking trails and the lake, and preferred our spot at the top of the hill as it was quiet. The cabin was beautiful and very clean - very well appointed for a restful and enjoyable stay.
