"We loved our stay in Rize. Its quieter than other areas of Turkey, so you can mingle with locals more. Beautiful scenery anyway you drive. I think hiring a car allows you to really explore the area. Lots of activities from History, sports or just relaxing by lakes in lush green areas. We stayed 5 days need to return to explore some more. The hotel was an excellent place to explore from. Good breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed the swimming and spa. Wonderful relaxing break. "

The location in the town is relatively good especially if you are looking for a overnight stay on a long term journey along the coast. The hotel is located in the middle of an area with garages and car mechanics works. This location can result in quite early and noisy wakeup in the mornings. No quiet garden to sit with your tea :-) "
