"Pros: Good hotel, Food is perfect, New renovated hotel, Staff is helpful. Cons: Reception staff is not professional enough, calling reception from room is a nightmare, reception is mostly occupied and in a small area, SPA is very expensive and not professional at all, Beach bed is muddy, slippery and not good at all Pool bars serve only beverages, no snacks permitted!! No night entertainment!! "

"Had a lovely week at the ALDAU and was blown away by home huge it is. The pool is an absolute beast! A great family spot with lots to do and great service and staff. The food wasn't especially amazing unless you were able to score a reservation to one of the restaurants on site, which was nearly impossible to do, and you could only go once if you could. "Best hotel I have ever stayed in. the customer service and the beauty of this hotel cannot be matched. From the moment we arrived until we left, there was nothing that was overlooked. staff extremely helpful and attentive, room was spectacular. the swim up suites are beyond luxurious. the choice of restaurants were great, and the food was wonderful. Really enjoyed the adults only areas provided. "

"We loved our stay at Desert Rose! My family stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. The food is decent — good amount of choice for a buffet style hotel and a la carte restaurants were OK. The bars were plenty! The rooms were really nice, although we stayed in a recently refurbished room which was nicely decorated and kept really clean.
