This is a smaller resort in a great location, perfect if you want a combination of going into PV town or exploring the south zone beaches and taking bus & water taxi to beaches that are not accessible by road, such as Yelapa and Quimixto. Catching bus is cheap (10 pesos) & easy right outside hotel. Room was clean & spacious, with lovely beach and sunset view and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the shade on the beach, never got a lounge chair around the pool as all taken and we preferred the beach, sand was soft but ocean too rough to swim, pool bar service was slow, the lobby bar was better. We liked the water bottle refill station on each floor. Good food at buffet, lots of choices. Restaurants were good too and no reservations but you had to wait to get a table unless you show up right when they opened at 6:30. Reception a bit slow at check in and out, we had an evening flight home and although we had to check out at noon, we were able to leave our luggage and keep bracelets on until 2:00pm. Also we loved that our bracelets were also the room key. Entertainment was good.

Nice views of the ocean. Food is not very good, impossible to get a chair at he pool, cant trust room service, beach is not good.

With limited word capacity, let me start by saying that most staff in this resort are friendly and hard working. When booking a resort you look forward to the all-inclusive amenities that come with the package deal and you hope for a smooth and quick transition to enjoying those perks. During our initial Saturday arrival to Grand Park, we were welcomed with a 30 minute wait to check-in. If there was a long line, we’d definitely understand; but rather it was due to limited staff at the reception area. Since we arrived a couple hours before the 3pm check-in to the room, they directed us to another area to have our baggage stored, where we waited close to another 30 minutes to be helped with this. Already frustrated, we went to grab a bite to eat. To our dismay, we learned that 3 of the 4 restaurants were closed for lunch hour (One in fact was closed both Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner). The buffet area was open, but it didn’t take long to realize that the quality of the food was well below standard. They also had a pool bar where they served burger and fries, but the line was very long (and again, food wasn’t good). Beyond the limited and poor quality food we were disturbed to find bite marks on our legs and arms from the bed bugs (family members had same experience) In addressing this with staff, no compensation was given and the staff didn’t seem too concerned. This is a resort that we are definitely not returning to in the near future, nor one we’d suggest.

There is no shuttle bus from airport to the resort. The room is clean. Cleaning service was very slow. Called the front desk to get towels after 3 hours came back to my room there was still nothing. Towels in the pool always run out. I was told to wait 5 mins for towels, after 5 mins, I came back and was again told to wait another 10 mins. Food was average. Not so many options and the taste was so so . The Italian restaurant was kid prohibited. I came with my family with my daughter and never had a change to try Italian restaurant. Line up to get lobster for lunch, and when at my turn there was nothing left. Bikini was not allowed in the Veranda, i grabbed the towel to cover myself and the restaurant supervisor told me even with towel, I was not allowed to get in. Other people with see-through net jacket were okay to come in. I had no idea the difference and the reason for stopping me to come in. The pool was in very bad condition. The surface of the pool was very sharp. I and my daughter both got knee cut while we were in the kid pool.
