"Gem in the city center! A hotel with history and beauty! A place I use to stay when I was a child and has withstand the test of time…if only the walls could talk…It has been renovated and the beds are heavenly!"

"The staff was excellent there. Especially Eirini and Joana from the front desk and Goncalo from the restaurant there. I left my phone on the plane which made things very stressful for me when I first arrived in Porto at the hotel. But Eirini and Joana did so much to try to help me - making calls for me, allowing me to use their phones, coordinating between me and various contacts since I don't know the Portuguese language very well. It really made things much easier for me and I finally got a cheap phone while waiting to see if my other phone would eventually turn up. So, I can't say enough good things about Eirini and Joana who did so much to help. Goncalo was also wonderful, polite, and attentive in the restaurant and he provided excellent service. So, I want to be sure to include him on this."
