This place is a great place to stay with good facilities and with no fuss. I had everything we needed for a short stay. Very affordable and comfortable accommodation with a great view of the marina and Hastings river if you get a pool facing suite. We didn’t use the restaurant as we have family in town and are with them. Sleeping wise and location is spot on. A little out of the way from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. Perfect.

I chose this hotel for the blue playground listed in the pictures, this playground no longer exists and it’s now a backyard style wooden playground which left a lot to be desired for my child, she still enjoyed it though but we were both sad the pictures hadn’t been updated. The room was clean and adequate. We payed for the buffet breakfast, this was ok, don’t expect anything grand but it filled our bellies, the best part was the automatic pancake machine my daughter loved it. Coffee was empty and not refilled in the time we were there.

The room was very comfortable and the views across the pool and river just stunning! Staff were lovely and super accommodating, the pool and little playground fantastic, and the breakfast buffet great value. Would definitely come back.

We stayed one night on the way to Byron Bay from Newcastle. It was a good stay. The price was quite high for where it's situated. Also a canal view means the car park and a creek in the very background. A 10 min walk into the CBD. It was quiet though and room was clean and standard hotel upgrade. Better options closer to CBD for the price though.

We had what was described as a balcony room with a pool view, what we actually had was a lovely room overlooking the pool and the marina. It was so relaxing. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a really good shower. Lovely helpful staff. We ate twice in the restaurant and the meals were good value.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr unfreundlich. Um 8:20 Uhr war das Büffet schon ziemlich leer und es wurden nur nochmals die Eier aufgefüllt. Wenn das Hotel mit Fotos vom Frühstücksbüffet wirbt, dann sollte es auch so sein und nicht nur morgens um 7 Uhr. Gäste , die um 8:30 Uhr oder später erscheinen , zahlen auch 29 Dollar

No customer service, buffet was awful and expensive, bed was cold to sleep in asked for more blankets but didnt get them, toilet seat loose, checked in to the hotel at night no parking at the resort had to park on street when there was other side parking for the hotel but was told it was for the rooms allocated in front although this wasnt marked on the parking spots yet they were still empty the next day. We left a day early no compensation. Never again.
