"Well appointed and very comfortable home on the Chena river. Just outside of the North Pole and a 20 minute drive the Fairbanks. This was a perfect jump-off point for all of our adventures. The Chena break-up was occurring, our kids got to fish a bit and we saw multiple Golden Eagles scouting the river. The property had a pair of binoculars on-site. The home had everything you could ever ask for and then had the things you didn't realize you might want! Firewood, fishing poles, outdoor grill, etc. Very nice opportunity to have a few family meals on vacation. Gorgeous property, don't think twice about staying here."

"I really enjoyed the stay at Jamie’s cabin. It was clean, smelled great and had everything we needed plus some. Everything was thought of. I especially loved the St. Nickerdoodle coffee. It was awesome. The best part… we saw the Northern Lights from the cabin on our first night there. I HIGHLY recommend!"

"This cabin was amazing and quiet! Off the beaten path of the city but easy 4-5 minute drive to loca town for food and supplies. Just a 25 minute drive to Fairbanks for a few more entertainment and site seeing options."

"We loved our stay here in North Pole. I was initially skeptical because it was a 20 minute drive from the airport, however it was not a bad drive at all and kinda fun. Check-in process was simple and straight forward. We had no problems checking or checking out. The pictures were spot on and showed everything you would expect to find in the house. What the pictures don't show is the large size of the property and we had a great time looking for the Aurora. According to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute, the number 1 recommended location to view the Fairbanks Area Aurora is the Chena Lakes Recreation Area which is only about 8.5 miles away from this house. The large space on the property was more than adequate for us to see the Aurora without travelling the additional 8.5 miles. If you ever have travelled to a Aurora viewing spot like Murphy's Dome, then you will be super appreciative to see the northern lights with a bathroom nearby. The house Wi-Fi internet was fast at about 41 Mbs, allowing us to stream on all three TV's, and our devices, without buffering. Our cell phone provider was Verizon and we consistently had 3 bars of LTE service when not connected to the house Wi-Fi. On the negative side the house felt kind of sterile and devoid of character, even with the two bear hides adorning the opposing walls of the main living space which is an oxymoron, I know. We had a great time staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future."
