Junior “suite” Room 306 with a true king size bed and a pull out twin chair/ bed for our third adult. Large room with two tall windows, seating, vanity, and generous closet. Quiet (never heard the adjacent elevator but sorry, nothing blocks the noise on trash day), comfortable, and not too warm. A nice breakfast is served in the lovely dining room. Friendly professional staff on duty 24/7. We have stayed at several hotels in the Caumartin/ Opera and enjoyed the Saint Petersbourg very much. Just a small note on the bathroom: the open shower is positioned in the center of the room between the sink and the toilet. The lack of stall and door meant that the entire floor got wet and stayed wet. We learned to be careful not to splash water on our bathroom bags or the stacked towels. Curiously there is also no exhaust so we stood on towels for shaving and makeup and dried our feet on more towels outside the door before dressing. We survived just fine.
