"The service was excellent from the front desk to the pool maintenance workers, and we can't forget Robin from the breakfast staff. We have never been taken care of in a budget friendly hotel in this manner. Not saying that it wasn't a very nice looking hotel. We were so very surprised and appreciative. We asked for nothing yet was always taken care of at each of these areas. "

"This was our second stay here and it even exceeded the first. A beautiful historic building right in the center of all the action. Staff is always friendly, accommodations are clean and parking (which is notoriously difficult in Newport) is great. Thanks again. Will be back!"

"Property was average comfortable beds, next to main road so you here a lot of traffic, my remote for my tv wasn’t working properly but other then that everything else was ok. Clean bathroom and good room service."

"We stayed for the marathon which staged the start/finish line very close to the hotel. So for that, it was perfect. It was not beach weather but I assume that during summer, you could walk to the beach. It is a very simple hotel. We were upgraded to a larger room so couldn’t check in on the app. Our room was fine. Plenty of space. It was a little noisy in the evening because our room was right behind the front desk. But the folks were great and the service was wonderful. I would stay again"

"We loved it!! The staff was so nice to us and to our dog!! Beautiful historic atmosphere. I was a little surprised there was no fridge, so just check on that if you’ll need one, but we got by fine putting things on ice! Great room service too. Delicious food!! "
