Friendly Staff, Good Value

The accommodation is half-board (dinner and breakfast provided) but you need to arrive the hotel a bit early as dinner starts at around 17:45. If you use public transports you need to get there a bit early anyway as the last bus departs from the Yunishigawa Onsen Train Station at 17:10. If you plan to travel from Tokyo by train, prepare to leave before noon in order to arrive the hotel in time for check-in and dinner. (the distance from the Yunishigawa Onsen train station and the hotel is 14kms so getting to the hotel on foot is out of the question) The hotel is a bit aged but clean and well-maintained (no smoking smell) Room is ,well, roomy (which is a bit rare in Japan) Dinner set was nice (it's beef shabu) Breakfast is simple but adequate.

Pros: Friendly staff. Location very close to the Kamakura Festival area.

Cons: Maybe staff with some English proficiency.

Location: I stayed at this hotel in late Feb and there was Kamakura Festival (Snow Hut Festival) at the immediate vicinity.
