Location in Theatre district is perfect for a touristic trip. Restaurants are nearby, the Top View Bus Station (Hop on/off) is only a few steps up the street. Also, having a small food court in the hotel is great. However, cleanliness in the room and bathroom was below expectations. Almost no space to leave clothes, so we left them in the luggage, which also found only a place on the floor.

When we checked in we asked for a quiet room. The clerk kind of snickered and said that New York is a noisy city. The room he gave us was probably one of the noisiest since it was a corner room overlooking a very busy intersection. After two sleepless nights we asked to be moved. We were told they would move us but we had to vacant the room we were in by 9 and the new room would be ready at 4. That was not a problem since we had a lot of plans for the day. When we returned at 4:30 to pick up our new key we were very surprised that they gave us back the same room! How stupid can you be? It took another half hour before they found us another room,. The clerk gave us the new key and didn't even offer an apology. Rude. This room was much quieter but there were only 2 towels. We called guest services number on the in room telephone but no one answered. We tried again a hour or so later and still no answer. The next morning we tracked down a maid and told her we needed some more towels but we didn't need the room cleaned. She said they would put the towels in a bag on our door. When we came back late in the day there were no towels on our doors. We called guest services again and still no answer. The next morning we again asked the maid and she again said they would put them on the door. And again that night still no towels. That was our last night there. When I checked out they asked how our stay was and I told them the above story. We will never go back.
