Friendly staff clean room and close to everything. Love the body wash and lotion they supply! The only thing there was no eggs for breakfast but everything else was good. Love the fresh cookies as well! Whenever I come to the city I will stay there.

Got a two double-bed room, a bit tight but clean, well maintained and good bed. Very good water pressure for shower. Basic continental breakfast (3-hot items per day), with good dining area. Very convenient location for transit close to Penn station. A few convenient restaurants just beside it. A supermarket just across.

Filthy hotel. Nothing like the pictures showed. Staff were courteous that’s the only good thing I can say about the hotel. Rooms and beds were tiny. I cannot believe Hampton Inn lets this place use their name.

I have stayed in many hampton inns, and this one was very run down. Cheap sofa covers on lobby furniture, breakfast was lacking, room was old and basic. Staff were generally lovely.

For a hotel close to Madison Square & Times, it was a great location for going to a show or riding the subway. The staff was friendly and listened to our concerns. We stayed on the top floor and the A/C unit on the wall did not work, so they had us manually use the knobs on the window unit (which did seem unsafe). Some things I didn't like: the street right outside smelled like urine & many people were camped out along the road, the breakfast was fine (not great, but it worked), the TV was dated (only 30 channels with no streaming capabilities), and minimal light to work from the hotel room. Overall, it was definitely was overpriced for the stay. The rooms were clean and the stay was comfortable for our 2 nights.

The location is perfect as it has easy access to major areas in town. However, the AC in the eating area cools directly on your legs while eating which is very discomforting. The chairs also needs to be replaced as most of them are worn out.

This is a perfect location to lay your head after exploring all the City has to offer. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, the staff was helpful, and rooms were clean. The location can't be beat - especially if arriving by train and/or planning to use the Subway. It's also incredibly walkable to many well-known tourist attractions. My stay was with all females and we felt very safe at this property.

Overall the location and friendly staff made this stay a win. The Hampton is known for their comfortable beds and pillows- and this did not disappoint. It is important to ask for a higher floor if the noise of the city becomes too loud to sleep. Get to the breakfast early as it is not replenished frequently. We would suggest a place to fill up water bottled as the dispenser indicates not to. Bathroom, while small is quite functional. Really appreciated a functioning fan and great water pressure.

Fantastic experience! Everyone was super nice and they held our bags behind the counter for us while we walked around the city. Clean hotel and they provided breakfast! Super close to Penn station very convenient.
