You will LOVE the space! Our super bright, cheerful LOFT has lots of windows, two skylights and exposed brick walls. Original artwork everywhere! PERFECT for WFH life: 2 separate work surfaces with window views, fast FIOS wifi. Large empty closets. Immaculate, clean and disinfected, free washer/dryer in building.
Our Loft is imaginatively furnished with North African carpets, textiles, and an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary furniture. Amenities include large EMPTY closets, hard wood floors and a contemporary, fully equipped kitchen and dining table.
The bedroom has a queen size bed, a skylight and a view to the east. There is a queen sofa bed in the spacious living area. The large tiled bathroom has an additional storage shelves, a skylight, shower and tub. Other amenities are air conditioning, internet-ready flat screen TV, microwave, coffee-maker, ceiling fan, and all linens. The loft is located two flights up from the street.

Spotless, airy, stylish property in a brilliant area of Long Island City with a huge choice of excellent independent restaurants - and just a few yards from the subway with Grand Central just one stop away. Highly recommended. If you are worried about security the NYPD 108th Precinct is the other side of the street.

Nice and central appartment.
We, a family of five, enyoed this flat for 8 days while wisiting NYC. The neighberhood was nice with several restaurants, laundry and foodstores. It was a five minutes walk to the riverside with a fantastic Skyline-view. But probalbly the best was the short way to the Subway. From inside the appartment to Grand Central we used less then ten minutes with the 7-train. If we walked for 5 minutes we could take the G-train from another station, wich took us directly til Williamsburg and Brooklyn. There is no doubt that we will check out if this appartment is available if we travel to NYC again. David was a good and friendly host, and he gave us the appartment very clean and nice. We recomend! Halvard and Laila.

Location is excellent, and apartment is very clean and spacious.
Facilities provided generally excellent. Would suggest some improvement in kitchen utensils and tableware however. E.g., cups, plates and bowls are well-used and have scratches on surfaces. Would be nice to have a fruit/vegetable peeler. Both the host, David, and his assistant, Jess are very helpful and reply very promptly. Overall, enjoyed the stay very much.

The loft gave us a feel of what it is like to live in New York. Long Island City is a wonderful location with a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline. The owners were very attentive to any needs.

Absolutely Perfect!
I will never stay anywhere else when visiting NYC! Our experience with this lovely apartment was wonderful . The apartment itself is beautiful and quite large by NYC standards. It features a sun filled living room, updated kitchen and bath, and two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. As an additional treat , the apartment (in fact the entire building) is filled with incredible artwork. But you won't want to stay inside, because the location is the very best thing about this apartment! The neighborhood is wonderful. There are so many wonderful restaurants within 2 or 3 blocks that we were not able to visit them all! There is a great small grocery / deli around the corner, and two full grocery stores within easy walking distance. MOMA PS1 is an easy stroll away. The neighborhood is quite safe (NYPD station across the street from the apartment). There is a subway station less than half a block away . The 7 train will put you in midtown Manhattan in 15 minutes. To top it off , Margaret was a remarkably gracious hostess. Communication was excellent and her hints for navigating the neighborhood were invaluable . Best stay ever!

We spent Easter in the wonderful blue loft. We felt home from the very first moment we stept inside! We miss the stunning view from manhattan from our living room at home ;-) We would love to come back - as soon as possible! Thank you for everything David.

Un beau loft à 2 pas de Manhattan / Very nice loft so close to Manhattan
Nous vous recommandons ce loft idéalement placé (métro au pied de l'immeuble et ligne directe (7) et à 1 station de Grand Central!) Au bout de la rue, rives aménagées pour balade ou jogging le long de l'Hudson, très agréable:) Il y a un petit jardin commun à disposition. Quartier calme avec beaucoup de très bons restaurants et sûr (juste en face d'un commissariat;) Les propriétaires sont très organisés et laissent tout un tas d'infos et de conseils à l'arrivée. L'endroit est très lumineux et spacieux ( il y a grand séjour dans le studio Bleu). La déco top (les propriétaires sont des artistes). Seul petit bémol: vous n'avez pas de vrais volets occultants et dans une des chambres, puits de jour. Egalement si vous avez une personne qui dort dans le salon il y a une méridienne 1 place qui fait lit mais un peu petite pour une personne de + d'1m70! Le frigidaire est bruyant. Mais sinon à recommander chaudement !!!!
