Had I been informed the property was under renovations or that I’d be staying in an unfinished room, I wouldn’t complain because I chose that. But I wasn’t told that! So I feel ripped off. We stayed in a partially finished room with a broken TV, minimal hot water, and had to park at the other end of the property because our parking area was covered in dumpsters and building materials. The hot water ran out mid shower for my two kids, who were stuck rinsing off in cold water which is miserable at 11pm at night when it’s 28 degrees outside and the room is taking forever to heat up! The front desk lady was rude when I inquired where to park. When I checked out I gave them a list of things wrong with our stay and was told “I’ll tell the manager”. I had called Best Western customer service the night we checked in and requested to check out and get a refund... they transferred me to their closed customer service office. So we stayed but will never be back, and most likely never choose Best Western again.
