I really enjoyed my short stay at Hilo Hostel. The owner, Hiro and staff were very friendly to me. Hiro also walked me to a famous mochi shop that was on my list. I wish I stayed longer, but I know next time I’ll be back here. A hidden gem near the Nara train station.

Ho pernottato due notti presso l'ostello Hilo, e non avrei potuto chiedere di meglio. La posizione è strepitosa, raggiungibile velocemente a piedi (in linea retta!) da entrambe le stazioni di Nara, e comodissima per raggiungere i principali monumenti della città o partire verso i templi di montagna. La struttura è nuova e pulita, la camera silenziosa e calda (nonostante fosse pieno inverno) e nell'area comune si trova un comodo cucinino. Il gestore, dotato di gran senso pratico, è stato gentilissimo, super-disponibile ed amichevole senza mai essere invasivo. Mi ha fatta sentire non solo benvenuta, ma addirittura "a casa", rendendo il pernottamento un ottimo ricordo della vacanza. Spero di potere avere presto occasione di tornare. Decisamente consigliato!
