5 minutes to beaches in qualicum, 10 minutes to a lake ., great hiking trails near by , old country market with goats on the roof walking distance away, horne lake caves, famous milner gardens for afternoon teas, 11/2 hr to tofino .1hr to mount washington for sking, we are in the middle of island, 35 km to a large city that has great shopping malls, and lots of site seeing, 11/2 hr to a larger city called victoria butterfly world next door, airport 10 minutes away, free wfi
