"There's no way words can do this house justice. My friends and I have rented houses before, but nothing has remotely compared to this place. The house was impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of thick, fluffy towels, linens and blankets, and the spacious kitchen was loaded with almost anything anyone who cooks would need, which was great because we did a ton of cooking. And having a grill and an outdoor griddle handy made preparing meals even better. The wrap-around porch was a delight, and it had plenty of chairs and tables, more than we needed. The scenery in just breathtaking, with the back porch overlooking the White River. It became our place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any other excuse we could make to sit out and enjoy the view. The host was phenomenal at communicating everything we needed to know. We decided to stay an extra night, and she went out of her way to make it as easy as possible. We're grateful to her for that. Oh... And we didn't bring any pets, but we got regular visits from a couple of neighborhood puppers that we just loved. So I guess it's both pet-friendly, and if you don't have one, you'll get a friendly pet visitor. We're already talking about coming back for another visit as soon as possible. We love this place! We know you will, too."

"Very clean, very helpful staff. An older hotel which has not been updated, but price reflects that. Bed was fresh and comfortable. Concerns (from viewpoint of an elderly person): no elevator, low toilet, no grab bar next to toilet or in shower. Family members had room facing pool. Swimming lessons started at 7 am. Most folks are ready to get up and go by that time, but my group had hoped to sleep in. For the most part - a pleasant experience. The staff member who helped us was very knowledgeable about places to eat on a Sunday night and steered us to a perfect site to watch the eclipse."
