"Loved the room bedroom which came with it's own courtyard. They had some nice touches including giving us some fresh milk in a flask for teas/coffees in your room. Bed and bathroom very extremely comfortable. Very dog friendly with planty of gound to walk your dog to do it's business. Pub was very attractive inside and our meals were simply delicious (especially the Pork Ribeye) and my full english breakfast was first class. Both ther homemade beer bread and their sourdough were exceptional. Overall a superb stop to stay. Will be back with some friends from overseas as they will love the place."

"Lots of trip and height hazards due to variations in floor and ceiling levels throughout our top floor room and access corridor. Room selection should include information about these conditions, which came as a surprise. The quality of furnishings etc somewhat compensated but we needed to be vigilant not to hit our head or trip during our stay."

"I defy anyone to find friendlier staff than those at The Elmer - nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel welcome from the minute you step through the door. The food in the restaurant is really good - particularly useful to know as there's nowhere else nearby to eat! We had a wonderful walk along the beach before dinner. Our only 'gripe' is that the towels in the bathroom are very small - and this is a very minor moan. Highly recommend The Elmer - this is a return visit for us and, hopefully, not the last one either!"

"We enjoyed 2 nights at Beachcroft Hotel. The room was better than we had expected from the photos. It was quite small but ok for us and there was a nice little balcony facing the sea. Try the scones at the cafe they are sensational! Staff were very friendly and helpful. View and location are great. "
