The hotel is pretty tired with worn carpets etc, but is in a good location just off Lygon St (which is very busy in the evenings). Our room was next to the noisy lift and appeared to have some damp issues but was a decent size and well equipped with a comfortable bed (but only one pillow each). Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful though. Overall it was not expensive for where it is, but be aware you don't get a premium experience for a budget price.
