The hotel was very nice and we actually stayed there around two years ago. For this stay we went for the VIP - suite package but was disappointed with the snotty attitude that was displayed by Kerry Sports staff (a third-party group that oversees the operations of the hotel sports facilities). We decided not to use any of their facilities. Maybe Shangri-La should just kick out Kerry Sports and manage their own facility. Any bad experience with Kerry Sport will just be reflected on the supposed “high quality hotel experience” that Shangri-La is known for. Also, my family and I are very disappointed with the taste of the food during their breakfast buffet at Highstreet on the lobby floor. The selection seemed excellent but a lot of the food tasted either very bland or very salty. The mall food court would be a better choice. I do not recommend Shangri-La the fort.
