I should have really taken the advise from former guest. My welcome to check in was not nice, guy was rude and not willing to compromise to make my stay better. I was warned multiple times about making noise as if I was going to party in my room. Road to get there was really bad.

Nice location, good price.
Nice location in La Punta area, along the beach from Montanita and therefore more peaceful than in town. Close to best surf so good for watching surfers.Very nice Thai/sushi restaurant next door, although fewer dining options at this end of the beach, esp if on a budget. Accommodation was nice - rustic bamboo cabin with thatch roof, although there were some issues with damp/smell from drains which the new management were aware of and tried to assist with. Aircon in room wasn't working, so only had fan function, but wasn't a major issue for me. Nice setting only yards from beach, hammock outside room. Relaxing stay.

The hostal is right at the beach and away from the noisy part of the town. The owner and his staff are very helpful and accomodating. I enjoy the experience and strongly recommended this place.

Cafard impoli sale arrogant A notre arrivƩ la chambre Ʃtait sale le lit plein de sable toilette sale et des brochures d'autres voyageurs traƮner dans la chambre ce qui prouve qu'aucun mƩnage n'a ƩtƩ effectuƩe donc mƩnage effectuƩ par nos soins ensuite le toit n'est pas Ʃtanche donc quant il pleut tu es mouillƩes... Puis on pense que le pire est passƩ mais non... Un cafard de plus de 5cm fais son apparition suivi d'autres insectes non identifiƩe quant il fais froid claquer des dents la fine couverture est sale et en plus ne tient pas chaud donc si il fais froid tu as froid... fuyez cet hƓtel lamentable
