Comfortable stay at the Grand Sheraton Macao. Located above The Londoner, its location is convenient and within walking distance to shops, The Venetian, The Parisian and Studio City. We stayed over the Easter break so it was very busy. There were a lot of tourists mostly from the border so it can get a bit loud, congested and pushy. We had to line up each day for over 30 minutes for the hotel buffet breakfast which had a good spread. If you don’t want to line up, make sure you get there before 8:15am. If you have food intolerances or allergies, they don’t really cater well for it (probably more due to language difficulties and understanding) so just be careful. The main pools on level 8 were closed but the pools on level 4 were open (only 1 pool was heated though). The only negative was despite booking for 3 adults and conversing with the hotel a week prior to confirm arrangements, when we arrived after 9pm to check in, they informed us that the room we had booked was not available but they could put us in a room that had 2 single beds. This was disappointing given we had confirmed prior and we had 3 adults staying so we asked them how that was going to work. After 10 minutes of waiting they “found” us a room.
Overall a comfortable stay even though there were a few things that could have been improved.
