Avoid! Worst stay in a long time
The only good thing about the property really was the location. Central london with free parking. On arrival, the door looked like it had been broken into! We got into the property and dropped off some bags, then we tried to get out again and realised we were locked in! There was no door handle on the inside and yet the workings of the lock were still in the door so we couldnt get out. We had 2 small children with us, what if there had been a fire? Numerous calls to the owner and he orgainsed a locksmith. That was an hour and a half later. I can just say im glad we werent planning on leaving the flat for dinner as the door was left with a gaping hole and looked very insecure. We had to battle with the little keyring to open it again. Lock aside there were many other faults with the property. The bathroom door doesnt close, never mind lock. I had a very uncomfortable shower that was tepid at best despite being on the hottest setting. There was no plug for the bath. The bathroom is right by the front door with a cctv camera looking at it so make sure youre covered up if you have a shower or a night time toilet trip! The camera has no place inside the flat, it should be outside the front door. The main bed is away from the wall because of something round the floor and theres no headboard so we spent all night chasing the pillows as they kept falling down the gap. The sofa bed was tiny and really uncomfortable, not suitable for sleeping. Many other issues too. AVOID!!
