I was staying M-W, however it was a busy time for the hotel. When I arrived I had a smoking room (I didn’t realize upon booking) I requested a non-smoking room and the front desk worker who was helping me was very short and rude. When I inquired about possibly getting another room the next night since they couldn’t accommodate me that’s evening, I was received with the same attitude (basically leave if you don’t like it). They additionally acted as though because I booked with Expedia I wasn’t their problem. When I arrived to my room, only about half the lights worked, none of the drains worked properly and it was pretty dingy. I showered on about shin high water and the sink filled completely the night before when I washed my face. I ordered room service one night after a long day of working and it took about 90 minutes for a salad. I realize they were busy, so some things are understandable. My biggest issue was the condition of the room and the attitude of the staff.

There were not issues. The property was clean and the staff was friendly.

We had a problem with the A/C and it fixed by the time we returned from downtown. The casino was clean and the bartenders were friendly and kind. The only downer was that 4 people in our party became sick, however, there was no real indication that the root of the problem was due to something South Point did.
