Palms Place Hotel and Spa is an amazing 4 Diamond-Awarded full services boutique hotel. It is one of the best values for a luxury hotel in Vegas. Its location off the Strip makes it perfect for families or business travelers who want to stay in a quiet, smoke-free, relaxing and elegant environment and still be able to enjoy all the excitement that Las Vegas has to offer.

Our unit is a luxury One Bedroom Corner Suite (not a studio), 1220 square feet, 1br 1½ bath with 9’ ceilings. It can sleep up to 4 people in one king bed and one queen size sofa bed. From the moment you walk in the door, you will feel right at home. With floor to ceiling windows, state-of-the-art kitchen and a living room with a fireplace, this suite has all comforts of home.

The master bath features 3 shower heads with a rainfall shower. There is a separate Villeroy & Boch whirlpool tub from which you can enjoy views of the city. The suite also features an additional spacious half bath.

The unit also has an additional 350 square feet wrap-around balcony with both alive “West of the Strip” view and breathtaking strip-view to the north. “West of The Strip” is alive with the aromas of Chinatown and the innovative exhibitions at Las Vegas Art Museum, and is a perfect break from the roller coaster ride of The Strip. Take in nature displays and stroll through the botanical gardens at the 180-acre Springs Reserve. However, the balcony is temporarily closed due to security reasons.

Prior to check-in, I had emailed the owner asking if we could pay to check in early like the email says we could possibly do. The owner responded and said try around 1. We arrived at the property at 2:45 which was 15 minutes before the advertised check-in and the reservation could not be found. When I gave the front desk the unit number of the email confirmation I was provided he began to read the notes under that unit. Which indicated that the unit owner had double booked their unit and had in turn made reservations for a unit with the Palms for us. Strange. None of this was ever mentioned and how professional is this? I asked the desk how much their unit rents for and he said told me. The amount was less than what I paid to the owner for their unit by a few hundred. So I guess the owner said hey I can make some extra money on renting my unit and another one. Well, the unit that we were now supposed to be checked into was not ready since they had just checked out 10 minutes prior. I was trying to communicate with the owner the urgency of us getting checked in since it was for my daughter's birthday. Her response was we do not allow events in the unit. What I wanted to say was well first you have to provide us a unit before you can say what is allowed or not allowed. I am familiar with the rules since this is the business that I too am in. We finally got checked into a unit 1 hour after the written agreed check-in and 3 hours after when they told us we could check-in. The balcony was important to us. Now that we were renting a unit from the Palms versus an owner, the balcony doors were locked shut and no one could go out on the balcony. This is not what I paid for or agreed to. Disappointed. Also the unit we were provided not sure if the owner's unit that we rented would have been any better but this unit was worn down and dirty. We made the best of it but would not do business with this owner ever again. Shady! I do expect financial compensation.
