"We fell in love with this property from the moment we opened the doors. It was perfect for our family. We were supposed to go fishing, but mother nature reared her head and it rained. The lodge was amazing with so much space and areas to relax. There was room for all of us to play games together or break off for pool, shuffle board or ping pong. The covered areas outside were a real blessing with the rain we had. We will definitely be returning, and hopefully for longer than a weekend!"

"From the moment I saw the pictures online I knew my family and I had to experience this lovely property! Upon arrival it was more appealing than the pictures could reveal. If you’re looking for a quiet tucked away paradise then look no further! The hosts (Mark and Mary) are gifts from God and I don’t say that lightly. Just go ahead and reserve…it doesn’t get any better than this! Clean, cozy, comfortable, at home feeling with that classic country touch. Perfection!"

"It’s clear how much thought, care and effort the owners have put into creating a memorable retreat. It was so very clean when the ten of us arrived. There are many enjoyable sitting areas inside and out. The weather was very good. We used the grill and ate meals outside, enjoying the temperatures, the lack of humidity, the sunsets and the pleasant lights. Indoors, the home is filled up, pressed down and running over with vacation-style comfort: all kinds of cozy pillows, blankets and home decor. An AC on all three floors. Three-quarter or full baths on all three floors, with plenty of hot water. The men took full advantage of the pool table, fuss-ball, poker and horseshoes. We used the TV monitor to sing along to Texas songs and play movies from remote devices. With ten people, the kitchen and laundry room both got a work-out. They're both pleasant to work in. There was so much to do that we didn't even get to the board game room with the gorgeous views."

"Stayed at the Bridgeview Lodge for the 4/8/24 total eclipse. Could not have asked for a better experience. The house itself was perfect for two families with teen and college-age kids, with plenty of room to spread out and was very comfortable. The adults had private, nicely appointed queen bed rooms, while the kids had a huge loft with multiple beds and gave them a space of their own as well. The barn full of outdoor toys kept everybody entertained, and the huge back deck was perfect for enjoying the view of the eclipse (which was spectacular). Kitchen was well-stocked and convenient for putting together family sized meals at the huge dining room table. Our host Melissa went above and beyond for us, answering all of our questions quickly,both before, during, and after our stay. She even checked with the local sheriff to see if a burn ban that was is in effect would prevent us from using the firepit (it didn't). Just a very memorable experience in a great place. Highly recommend!"
